Driver's Seat

And The Fun Resumes!

So again it has been a while since we have posted, but we have been busy rebuilding the motor since it decided to let go in February. Long story short, while blipping the throttle to slow the car down to get under twelve seconds, the crank decided it wanted to become a three piece crank.

Well, after a long wait and some thrashing with help from a bunch of friends, we have a new bullet. It is a 440ish rotating assembly and a new set of aluminum heads. Based on our initial calculations we should be in the 11.30 second range. If that holds true, then we are thinking we will be in the 10 second range when we go to the tunnel rams and dual carbs.

Tonigjt we will go out and do our break-in runs and the next two days we will run for the state championship and Wally Parks trophies.

We will post post the results after this weekend. If you are at the track, come by and say hi.
